Dance Sanctuary is a conscious dance gathering that invites you to dance in community for wellness. Free form dance - along with a curated mix of eclectic, nature-inspired music - will be accompanied by intention sharing, reflecting, earth based ritual, drumming, call and response singing, poetic meditation, and more. Dancers are invited to engage in a Sacred Elements Circuit, a loose framework that uses the classical sacred elements as a guide for creative movement, improvisation, and self-expression. We will have a short warm-up up and cool down, along with a post-dance reception with snacks, oracle cards, and conversation. Intended for teens and adults, this gathering is drug and alcohol free. Dance experience is not required for this reflective gathering aimed at community connection and self-discovery.

• Free-Form Movement: No dance background or training needed; just follow your body’s natural rhythm. 
• Ecstatic Beats: Move to an eclectic curated playlist of uplifting, nature-inspired music designed to elevate your soul (downtempo, electronic, organic house, world beats, and more) 
• Wellness Focus: Experience the mental and physical health benefits of dance in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. 
• Meditational Experiences: Symbolic sensory rituals, meditation, poetry and/or song will enhance the somatic journey. 
• We will begin and end with a short warm-up/cool-down. Light refreshments will be available throughout our gathering. 
• Incense or essential oils may be used in the space, please take note if you are scent sensitive. 
• This is an alcohol and substance-free event.
   

• Come dressed in comfortable clothing suitable for a wide range of movement
• Bring socks, or soft-soled dance/indoor shoes (the floor is polished concrete) - you can also dance barefoot if you like! 
• A bottle of water to stay hydrated 
• A small towel (expect to sweat!) 
• Frame drum (optional)
• An open heart and mind
